Wide, Open Spaces

I don't know how people live in the city- always surrounded by people & buildings. How do they get away from everything? Where do they find fresh air & quietness?

I'll take trees, birds, & open fields any day over tall, fancy buildings & busy streets. Give me space to run, think, & dream.

What about you? Do you like the country or the city?

  1. you know, i actually need both. i live in the suburbs, which is nice, but going into the city almost give life to my soul in a sense. but to be honest, what i really like about our city are the beautiful parks where we can run & play or just lay in the grass...with the skyline in the background...so maybe i need the "outdoors" among the city :)

  2. The country stole my heart at a young age ;) luckily.
I honestly yearn to be outdoors in a field or woods or river, especially when I've been in school/the city for too long. Nature is so replenishing for me :)

  3. I'm a total country girl and I agree, whenever I'm in a big city I feel like I can't breath! Love your pics too :)

  4. The country, for sure! I couldn't imagine being cooped up in the city. I will take nature, space and breathing room over convenience!

  5. Same here. I love the city, but I long for fields, trees and dirt roads.

  6. I think I need both. I crave city life every once in awhile, and I crave country life. I suppose it's good that I live in the suburbs, on a 1/4 acre of land. Kind of the best of both worlds!

  9. I'm totally torn. I live in a pretty urban area and get annoyed with the noise. My husband and I dream of the country life, but then we talk about how different it would be.

  10. Oh for INcredible Natalie, I LOVE this post!!! And did you know there is a song called Wide Open Spaces? Based off of Psalm 18...it's by the band Clear, you GOTTA look it up and listen...I think you can find it on youtube to listen to and get the lyrics, it's AMAZING. You will be drenched in God's goodness and Truth when you hear it!
