Last week, I had Leonora from Yellow Heart Art design a logo for me, and I couldn't be happier with it! I asked her if she could use my actual signature for the "NS" (the same way I sign all of my pots!), and being the superwoman that she is, of course she said she could do it! :) I wanted the logo to be simple and timeless and reflect the style of my shop. I think a logo should be recognizable and something that will still look up-to-date and relevant 10, 20, or 50 years from now.
I've been wanting to design new business cards for a while now, and I received my logo just in time! (Leonora is superwoman, I tell you.) I wanted to make one card to go with jewelry purchases and one to go with pottery. I used a couple images that Jennifer shot for me, and I am so pleased with how they turned out! I can't wait for them to arrive in the mail. They're double-sided, so the image in the center is on the back.
I've been working on changing all of my branding (including my blog) to use my logo, but goodness, that takes time! This summer has been crazy busy and is flying by. Between filling orders (hello, wholesale account in Wales, UK!), keeping up with the garden, and spending time with family and friends, it often seems like there aren't enough hours in the day! I know they say the older you get, the quicker time seems to go by, and I believe it!
How has your summer been? Tell me what you've been up to!

i love your new logo! :) and congrats on the wholesale account. busy, busy, busy fun summer, and hopefully my garden will groW! :)
