ABOUT

Hi, I'm Natalie, and I have been making handcrafted, functional stoneware pottery in my home studio since 2008.

It really all began back in high school, when I was just 16 years old. Ceramics class was the highlight of my day, a time to "get away from it all" and immerse myself in what I was creating. After graduating from high school, I went on to take classes from Akron, Ohio potter Bob Yost, where I really learned the basics of throwing on the wheel. I must say that it did not come naturally for me, at first. It took many weeks of practice before I could make anything remotely recognizable, but I had determination.

I sell my work at art and craft shows in the Northeast Ohio area and through my etsy shop. I feel so blessed to be doing something that I love and to be able to add beauty to other people's lives.

Jesus Christ is the love of my life. I can't imagine traveling this road called life without Him by my side. Because of this, you can expect to hear me talking about my faith and sharing things that God is doing in my life personally, along with other aspects of life, business, food/gardening, & my favorite things.

It is my hope that you will leave my blog feeling inspired in some area of your life.
